Successive Approximation Register (SAR) Analog-to-Digital Converters

Microchip’s Successive Approximation Register (SAR) ADC portfolio is a great choice for designs where low power consumption and superior AC/DC performance are needed, especially in the harsh automotive environments. With products ranging from 10-bit to 16-bit resolution, a wide selection of speed capabilities (22 ksps to 1 Msps) and variety of AEC-Q100 temperature grades, our cost-effective SAR ADC portfolio provides the flexibility to meet your automotive design needs.

Delta-Sigma Analog-to-Digital Converters

Microchip offers 24-bit automotive-qualified Delta-Sigma ADCs. These devices feature sampling rates up to 125 ksps, low-power operation, low-output noise and both I²C and SPI interfaces. Energy Measurement ICs

Digital to Analog Converter

Microchip offers low-power Digital to Analog converter (DAC) devices in 8- to 12-bit resolution and one to four channels. The unique integrated non-volatile memory option allows for the DAC’s configuration to be saved at power down and can help reduce microcontroller overhead while also simplifying the design. Several devices also integrate the voltage reference. The very high-accuracy and low noise performance of these devices makes them ideal for automotive applications.


Digital Potentiometers

Microchip offers a variety of low-power, compact devices featuring six to eight bits of resolution, one to four channels, available with both volatile and non-volatile memory. Microchip’s digital potentiometers can be used in automotive applications such as sensor calibration, smart actuation, and dimming in displays and lighting.
