Street Lighting Application Overview

Incorporating smart, secure and connected street lighting systems is a major step toward achieving urban sustainability goals. These connected systems use sensors to enable real-time adjustments based on factors such as pedestrian and vehicle movement, weather conditions and ambient light levels. This intelligent automation enables street lights to operate only when needed—dimming or turning off during periods of low activity—which significantly reduces energy consumption and lowers carbon emissions from power generation.

Given the varying requirements of each city and country, developing custom smart LED drivers and smart street light controllers tailored to meet these specific needs offers a cost-effective approach to smart lighting deployment.

We have developed a fully customizable, complete smart street light solution that includes industry-standard intra-luminaire connectivity and isolated communication protocol in the secondary side, with a single digital controller and isolated topology.
