SAM9 Arm926EJ-S™ Based Hybrid MCUs

If your application that is currently running on a microcontroller (MCU) needs to handle more data for connectivity and processing and/or to support display resolution above VGA, you need to upgrade your design.

Running at frequencies of up to 800 MHz, our low-power hybrid MCUs are bridging the gap between an MCU and a microprocessor (MPU).

They are supported by our MPLAB® X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and MPLAB Harmony to enable development for Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and bare-metal software, Linux® OS and Microchip mainline distributions.

These hybrid MCUs help you design your application keeping the temperature specification under the ambient temperature condition (Tambient) unlike typical MPUs where Tjunction is used.

Our hybrid MCUs come with a rich set of peripherals and user interfaces, including on-device Double Data Rate (DDR), Systems in Packages (SiPs) and Systems on Modules (SOMs), to simplify the design for cost-sensitive consumer, IoT and industrial applications.
