Inductorless Offline Switching Regulators
Microchps’s Inductorless Offline Switching Regulators are designed to provide low, offline power, where there are no strong requirements for power factor correction or galvanic isolation. These products include a mix of capacitor coupled regulators, along with versions that combine rectifying only parts of the input AC signal with linear regulation to provide low cost input power. These solutions typically promise better efficiency that an Offline High Voltage Linear Regulator, with only a limited number of additional components and complexity.
