The ATMXT2952TD touchscreen controller is aimed at display sizes up to 21” used in Industrial designs. This family of touchscreen controller brings Microchip’s unmatched Adaptive Sensing technology to the industrial market. It enables dynamic touch classification, a feature that automatically and intelligently switches between self-capacitance and mutual-capacitance sensing to provide users a seamless transition between a finger touch and thick glove touch. Adaptive Sensing is also highly resistant to moisture. Proprietary differential touch sensing delivers unparalleled noise immunity ensuring superior touch performance even in harsh environments, and with a thick cover lens.
Microchip’s new signal shaping technology is lowering emissions significantly and ensures that large touchscreen solutions based on the ATMXT2952TD meet customer requirements for electromagnetic interference. The controller also incorporates a new self and sensor diagnostic function, which constantly monitors the integrity of the touch system.
Support: off the shelf maXTouch standard modules are available to help shorten development time and reduce risk. Microchip also has a strong selection of factory trained global touch sensor module partners to help support custom touch sensor and/or touchscreen display designs.
This maXTouch USB Bridge product provides an interface to connect the I2C or SPI compatible based maXTouch devices to PC-based applications through a USB port.
The D21 bridge board significantly improves data throughput, increasing test and production efficiency. This board is twice as fast as other maXTouch bridge boards (ATUSB-PCB-80146 and ATUSB-I2C-AUTO-PCB).
