Overview
EV59C37A evaluation board provides designers with the environment needed for evaluating the performance and implementation of non-isolated PD applications based on the PD70200 PD Front-End IC and the MIC28514 Buck regulator. The board uses a single PD device, PD70200, to support the detection, classification, and powering phases on the 2/4 pairs of the Cat 5 cable.
DC-DC conversion is implemented with the MIC28514 synchronous buck regulator. The PD70200 supports a standard IEEE® 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at Type 2 interface. The EV59C37A evaluation board supports a 5A load at 5V and 3.3V user-selectable outputs.
