20008 CIP2 - Motor Control Using Core Independent Peripherals
This video explores the usage of Microchip’s Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) in motor control applications. These CIPs, present on 8-bit and 16-bit MCU and DSC devices, provide several alternate methods of implementing different building blocks and generating signals that are required for low-cost and efficient motor control applications. The peripherals discussed will include 16-bit PWM, complementary waveform generator, angular timer, hardware limit timer, MCCP/SCCP, PTG, CLC, Comparator and Op-amp. Application case studies will be presented to provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of the flexibility and ease-of-use of these modules.
