Device Overview

Summary

The ATtiny3217 of microcontroller featuring the 8-bit AVR®  processor with hardware multiplier - running at up to 20MHz and with up to 32 KB Flash, 2 KB SRAM and 256 bytes of EEPROM in a 24-pin package. The series uses the latest Core Independent Peripherals with low power features.  Including Event System, intelligent analog and advanced peripherals. Capacitive touch interfaces with proximity sensing and driven shield are supported by the integrated QTouch®  Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC).

Functional Safety:
This product is recommended for safety critical applications targeting both industrial and automotive products (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262). Necessary documentation such as FMEDA report and Safety Manual can be provided on request. The MPLAB X IDE and the MPLAB XC8 compiler is available in a safety certified version. Please contact your local Microchip sales office or your distributor for more information.
