Device Overview

Summary

The ARM®-based SAM9261 runs up to 190MHz with 160KB of SRAM that can be configured as TCM (tightly-coupled memory). It features an extensive peripheral set that includes an integrated graphics LCD controller supporting screen resolutions up to 1280x860 with 16M colors and 24bpp. The device integrates multiple communication interfaces, such as FS USB host and device with 2 ports and 2 transceivers, a FS USB Device, USARTs, SPIs, I2S and I2C. The external bus interface incorporates controllers for SDRAM and Static memories, with specific interface circuitry for CompactFlash and NAND flash. The device is available in a BGA217 package with 0.8mm ball pitch.
