Socket Modules

This PM3 Socket Module supports the programming of Microchip PIC16F MCUs of 20uQFN package, (3x3x0.5)mm or (4x4x0.5)mm body size using the MPLAB PM3 Programmer (DV007004). Please always refer to the Device Tool Selector (www.microchip.com/dtsapp) to verify the programmer and correct socket module.

The AC164166 14-Pin SOIC Socket board is used to develop applications for the TA100 using microcontroller boards that support the mikroBUS extension header.  Through use of the ATMBUSAdapter the board can also be used with kits that support an XPRO Extension.   Utilizing a socket allows for the ability to try out various configurations of the TA100 device to select an optimal configuration for a given application.  The board supports both 3.3V and 5.0V supply operation and can be used with either I2C or SPI interfaces present on the device.  The board also support the 3 GPIO signals present on the TA100 device.

Sample devices are not included in the kit.   Please Contact Microchip for an NDA and to get sample devices.
Supporting software is available via myMicrochip with an NDA.

The TA100 8-Pin SOIC Socket board is used to develop applications using microcontroller boards that support the mikroBUS extension header.  Utilizing a socket allows for the ability to try out various configuration of the TA100 device to select an optimal configuration for a given application.  The board supports both 3.3V and 5.0V supply operation and can be used with either I2C or SPI versions of the device with appropriate jumper settings.   Dependent on the I/O Mode the device will support between 1 and 3 GPIO's.
