EV64Z42A - MTCH2120 Evaluation Kit

Overview

The MTCH2120 provides noise robust and water tolerant touch button implementation for up to 12 buttons with I2C interface to the host. The MTCH2120 is most flexible yet won't require software engineering for design in

The MTCH2120 Evaluation Kit underlines the flexibility and performance while offering an out of the box platform to explore the exhaustive design in ecosystem.

  • 12 on board touch buttons of varying shape and size
  • fully flexible via I2C configuration
  • Host on board - please use latest firmware provided via MPLAB DISCOVER
  • Ability to connect to other host (No host coding required - Host Code Configurator via MPLAB Code Configurator)
  • Comprehensive low power support incl. channel grouping (lump mode)
  • Ability to use on board host to connect to external MTCH2120
  • No Tuning required thanks to Easy Tune support - sensitivity will be auto-adjusted during runtime
  • Quick prototyping by connecting external touch electrodes
  • Supports touch tuning, visualization and validation via MPLAP Data Visualizer
  • USB powered - 5V and 3.3V rail selectable
  • LED status indication

The MTCH2120 Evaluation Kit enables a complete out of the box experience exploring the water tolerant and robust touch of the MTCH2120. The MTCH2120 is an (up to) twelve button touch turnkey device with I2C interface - loaded with features yet not requiring a software engineer to be designed in.
