Senior Applications Engineer I
After graduating from ASU in 2019, I joined Microchip with a Maker mindset, which led me to 8-bit MCU Technical Marketing. For nearly two years, I created demos, content and represented Microchip at trade shows before mentoring new graduates and helping them turn theory into real hardware. This sparked my passion for education and led me to Microchip’s Academic Program, where I worked to counter the “weed-out” culture in engineering and help students keep their sense of wonder. Inspired by this mission, I designed a playful, CircuitPython-based development kit in a 12-inch ruler form factor to give students early “I built something cool” moments. Seeing my kit move into mass production has been a career highlight, as it means I’m helping inspire the next generation of engineers.
