Description
This application note covers temperature indicators in several families for PIC16F and PIC18F that have the internal temperature indicator referenced to ground. Examples are PIC16F15355 and the PIC18F27K42. This grounded configuration allows more consistent operation with the use of a variable voltage power supply than the previous PIC16F versions that were configured with temperature diodes referenced to VDD.
