SAMRH707 Microcontroller for Space Applications Meets QML and ESCC standards

The SAMRH707 is a radiation-hardened microcontroller (MCU) that delivers an optimal blend of space-grade connectivity interfaces and high processing power, reaching up to 100 DMIPS (>5 CoreMark/MHz). Designed for aerospace applications, the device meets the MIL-STD-1553 standard and offers exceptional radiation resistance, extreme temperature tolerance and high reliability. With an Arm® Cortex®-M7, the SAMRH707 integrates high-bandwidth communication interfaces such as SpaceWire and CAN FD, along with advanced analog features, including a 12-bit ADC and DAC.

First launched in 2021 in plastic and ceramic packages with various level of qualification, the SAMRH707 family is now expanding with new extended qualifications. With its 5962-25215 and 9512/008 variants, the SAMRH707 meets stringent U.S. military QML standards (5962-20208) and European ESCC standards (5010/025). These dual certifications demonstrate the resiliency necessary in extreme space environments, making it a reliable choice for mission-critical applications such as satellite subsystems, telemetry and onboard data processing, ensuring consistent performance in the most demanding conditions.

Automotive Qualified ATA6847/ATA6847L Three-Phase Brushless Motor Gate Single Basis Chip

The new series of ATA6847 and ATA6847L Three-Phase Brushless Motor Gate Drivers are automotive-qualified to the AEC-Q100 Grade 0 standard and offer functional safety support to meet the rigorous demands of modern automotive environments. The ATA6847 and ATA6847L provides high integration with three half bridge gate drivers, op amps for BLDC motor current sensing and low-drop voltage regulators (LDOs) into a single compact device. Flexible control can be enabled via six parallel or three complementary inputs, configurable through an SPI interface. The ATA6847L variant stands out with an integrated LIN transceiver, reducing Bill of Materials (BOM) and PCB space. When paired with a microcontroller and six discrete power MOSFETs, it forms a complete brushless DC motor control unit. The ATA6547 is a compact 5 mm × 5 mm VQFN 40-pin package, while the ATA6847L is a 6 mm × 6 mm VQFN 48-pin lead package, both are optimal power management solutions for space-constrained automotive applications such as pumps, fans, actuators, seat adjustment, window lifts, wipers and more. 

DSA150x Low-Power Low-Jitter CMOS MEMS Oscillators for Automotive

The new family of DSA150x Low-Power, Low-Jitter CMOS MEMS Oscillators are designed for automotive applications and meet the AEC-Q100 standard. The DSA1500 MEMS oscillator is built for high performance with all-silicon resonator technology, offering high reliability and stability. It delivers excellent jitter performance of just 1.0 psec RMS and a frequency stability of ±20 ppm. The DSA150x devices are available in a voltage range of 1.71V to 3.63V and in 2.0 × 1.6 mm package, with an extended temperature range from –40°C to +125°C.  Its compact, industry-standard packages allow for a seamless drop-in replacement, making upgrades simple and allowing easy integration into existing designs. Whether you’re working on next-generation infotainment systems, advanced driver assistance, or mission-critical control modules, the DSA150x devices provide the reliability and performance modern vehicles demand. 

SmartFusion®2 SoC FPGAs Power Semtech USB Extenders

Microchip’s SmartFusion®2 SoC FPGAs (M2S010) are delivering reliable USB 2.0 extension over standard Ethernet cabling for Semtech’s UEX1000 and UEX2000 USB extender solutions. The reference design and evaluation units showcase Microchip’s Total System Solution (TSS) with the USB3340 ULPI PHY and LAN8830 triple-speed Ethernet PHY, with the LAN7800 USB-to-Ethernet controller available for SuperSpeed designs.
