The SpaceWire Router IP Core provides a SpaceWire routing switch with SpaceWire interfaces which is fully compliant to the ECSS-E-ST-50-12C Rev.1 SpaceWire standard. It is a highly capable router core with generics to determine the number of SpaceWire and parallel FIFO ports. It supports path and logical addressing, watchdog timers on each port, power saving circuitry, and configuration via an RMAP protocol port. Broadcast code distribution for both Time-code and distributed interrupt codes is included. This IP core was used in the design of the Microchip AT7910E SpaceWire Router ASIC, which has eight SpaceWire ports with LVDS drivers/receivers on-chip and two external ports. Support for this device is provided by STAR-Dundee.
