The iniCAN core is a low-level CAN protocol engine that handles all the details about message transmission and reception, bit synchronization, arbitration and error handling. A message level interface simplifies appllication specific additions such as message filters and buffers. This is the ideal core for CPUless implementations or custom CAN controller designs. The core implements the Controller Area Network protocol according to ISO-11898-1.
