This application note describes how to use the Analog Signal Conditioning (OPAMP), Analog Comparator (AC), the Event System (EVSYS), Configurable Custom Logic (CCL), and Timer/Counter Type D (TCD) to detect overcurrent events and core independently shut down the load. In the example in the application note, a fan motor is used as the load.
