Public Key and Asymmetric Cryptography – Cryptography Primer Part 4
Asymmetric cryptography, also known as public key cryptography, is very different than symmetric cryptography and it is important to understand when you should use this form of security.
Asymmetric Cryptography is based on a client and a host using two mathematically related keys, called public - private key pairs, to authenticate a devices identity. Watch the rest of the video to find out when you should use this sort of authentication in your embedded designs.
