The PolarFire® SoC Icicle Kit is a low-cost development platform for evaluating Microchip’s Linux-capable RISC-V SoC, featuring real-time processing, low-power operation, and rich peripheral integration. It includes LPDDR4, SPI, and eMMC memory, PCIe root port, power monitoring, Raspberry Pi and mikroBUS expansion headers, and various wired connectivity options. Ideal for rapid prototyping, the kit supports applications across AI/ML, industrial automation, IoT, networking, aerospace, defense, and automotive, where secure, reliable, and power-efficient compute is essential.
Featuring (MPFS250T-FCVG484E) production silicon, the enhanced Icicle Kit offers full feature support, integrated In-Application Programming (IAP), and a reduced price—delivering greater reliability and accessibility for developers.
