The SAMA5D29 Curiosity Board is intended for evaluating and prototyping with the SAMA5D2 series microprocessors and associated SIPs. The SAMA5D2 series is a high-performance, low-power Arm Cortex-A5 CPU-based embedded microprocessor (MPU) running up to 500 MHz, with support for multiple memories such as DDR2, DDR3L, LPDDR2, LPDDR3, and QSPI and e.MMC Flash. The device integrates powerful peripherals for connectivity and user interface applications, and offers advanced security functions (Arm TrustZone® , tamper detection, secure data storage, secure boot, etc.), as well as high-performance crypto accelerators AES, SHA and TRNG.
The SAMA5D29 Curiosity Board features connectors and expansion headers for easy customization and quick access to leading edge embedded features such as MIKROE Click boards™ and Raspberry Pi expansion header. The kit is supported by mainline Linux distribution as well as bare metal software frameworks and RTOS allowing you to easily get started with your development.
