E-Bike - Handlebar Touch Screen Demo (with Round Display)

This demo shows a round display interface featuring maXTouch® MXT1066TD, driven by SAM9X75D1G System-in-Package (SIP) and our Graphics Suite Cross-Platform.

E-Gate

The E-gate demo demonstrates secure, contactless access control using facial recognition with liveness detection. A reference electronic gate setup is used to showcase real-time identification and verification, ensuring that only live, authorized individuals are recognized and granted access. The solution prevents spoofing attempts by detecting photos or videos.
All machine learning inference is performed locally on the SAMA7D65, a single-core Arm® Cortex®-A7 microprocessor part of the SAMA7 product line. The custom models are optimized for the device, enabling fast and reliable operation in production environments. This demo highlights the SAMA7D65’s capability to support AI applications for access control, smart buildings and embedded vision.

High-Resolution Display Multi-Function GUI

See a graphics demo powered by the SAMA7D65 with a 10 1280 800 Low-Voltage Differential Signaling Controller (LVDS) display using our Graphics Suite Cross-Platform.
It includes a multi-function launcher for:

  • Solar Power Management Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Audio Mixer HMI
  • Hotel Kiosk HMI
  • Home Automation HMI
  • Medical Electrocardiogram (ECG)/Electrocardiography (EKG) HMI
  • Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger HMI
  • Ventilator HMI

Hybrid IoT

This demo combines Power Line Communication (PLC) and Radio Frequency (RF) to create a reliable, scalable mesh network for smart energy applications. It’s built on the PL460 narrowband PLC modem and PIC32-BZ Wireless MCU and supports sensing, signaling, measurement and actuation. It seamlessly integrates with existing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

Industrial Ethernet Conveyer Demo

This demo shows a wide range of our technology for industrial automation, including machine vision, industrial control, motor control, HMIs, network communication and PROFINET support.

Introducing the PIC64HX

This demo showcases our highest-performing 64-bit MPU and its accompanying evaluation kit, demonstrating key capabilities including multiple operating modes, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) inferencing and TSN functionality.

Load Disaggregation by Machine Learning Model

This demo shows how total household energy consumption can be broken down into appliance-level components using patterns from a single measurement point, such as a smart meter.

PCIe and Networking - Coherence and Diagnostics

This demo shows how Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe®) and Ethernet technologies are more accessible with live timing and eye-diagram diagnostics.

PolarFire® Ethernet Sensor Bridge to NVIDIA Holoscan™

This demo features a hardware platform for edge AI development, featuring dual 10G Ethernet ports for NVIDIA Jetson® AGX Orin/IGX, Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) Camera Serial Interface (CSI)-2 camera inputs, and FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) expansion for future sensor standards. It’s built on PolarFire® FPGA and compatible with NVIDIA Holoscan Software Development Kit (SDK) for low-latency sensor acquisition and pre-processing.

Post Quantum Firmware Verification with Embedded Controllers

Conference Keynote

Consider the octopus: two-thirds of its neurons are distributed throughout its tentacles and skin, enabling each to sense, decide and act independently—an evolutionary strategy for intelligence that is both resilient and efficient. In the embedded world, we have long recognized the value of distributed intelligence. Today, as we scale to tens of billions of connected devices, the challenges and opportunities of managing power, integration complexity and future security threats are more relevant than ever.

Rich Simoncic will share how nature’s blueprint inspires our vision and how it can benefit the industry’s collective journey; moving beyond centralized “brains” to intelligent, secure and sustainable nervous systems at every touch point.
