With T1S Sim, a software for simulating 10BASE-T1S systems, it is possible to quantify the benefits of moving applications from CAN or CAN FD to 10BASE-T1S. The software allows to import AUTOSAR system descriptions and to map CAN, CAN FD and FlexRayTM clusters to 10BASE-T1S. It calculates performance statistics like bandwidth, maximal queue length and jitter and visualizes the bus traffic. It is also possible to manually configure Ethernet traffic, in case a specific system should be simulated. File-export and automatization functions round up this simulation tool.
