20010 CIP4 - Implementing Mixed Analog and Digital Circuits Using Core Independent Peripherals
This video explores the usage of Microchip’s Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) to implement mixed-signal circuits to process analog and digital signals. These CIPs, present on 8-bit and 16-bit MCU and dsPIC® DSC devices, provide several alternate methods of implementing vital mixed-signal circuits and functions that are required for a variety of user applications. The peripherals discussed will include PTG, CLC, PGA, comparator, op-amp, temperature indicator, signal measurement timer and hardware limit timer. Application case studies will be presented to provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of the flexibility and ease-of-use of these modules.
