Overview

Microchip offers a DisplayPort v1.4 reference solution for PolarFire FPGAs, featuring hardware, IP cores, and demo designs. It supports up to 8.1 Gbps per lane across 1-4 lanes and is part of their Smart Embedded Vision Portfolio.

The PolarFire® Video and Imaging Kit must be used to work with DisplayPort FMC Daughter Card.

demonstrates the implementation of DisplayPort Tx IP on PolarFire® FPGA in compliance with VESA DisplayPort 1.4 protocol showcases video streaming capabilities at data rates ranging from 1.62 Gbps to 8.1 Gbps.

Display Port Receive Block Diagram

demonstrates the DisplayPort Rx IP core for PolarFire® FPGA complies with VESA DisplayPort 1.4 protocol and supports data rates from 1.62 to 8.1 Gbps.
