Overview
The PolarFire® Ethernet Sensor Bridge Rev 2.0 from Microchip is a sensor-bridging platform designed to accelerate edge AI development with NVIDIA® Jetson™ AGX Orin™ and IGX platforms. Built on the power-efficient PolarFire FPGA architecture, it enables low-latency connectivity to a wide range of sensors and interfaces for applications such as healthcare, robotics, and embedded vision.
The platform is fully compatible with the NVIDIA Holoscan SDK and comes preprogrammed with dual MIPI® CSI-2 support, converting video streams to 10G Ethernet for fast edge-to-cloud integration. Support for additional protocols—including CoaXPress®, SLVS-EC, SDI, and JESD204B—is in development.
