The PICmico? family of RISC microcontrollers has been designed to provide advanced performance and a cost-effective solution for a variety of applications. This application note provides examples which illustrate some uses of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) using the PIC17C42?s Timer1 or Timer2 module.These examples may be modified to suit the specific needs of your application. This Application Note describes the operation of the PWM. They include the following topics: 1. Simple PWM Operation 2. Variable Period / Variable Duty Cycle PWM 3.
