Maker Faire Bay Area 2015: Quin Etnyre Talks Qduino Mini
Hot on the heels of a rather successful Kickstarter campaign, Quin Etynre continues to amaze us with his pure ingenuity and passion for creating things. As the epitome of what it takes to go from Makerspace to marketplace, the 14-year-old CEO recently debuted what he calls the Qduino Mini, a tiny Arduino-compatible board equipped with a built-in battery charger and fuel gauge that can notify a user when a LiPo needs a little more juice.
Measuring just 1″ x 1.5” in size and weighing a mere fraction of an ounce, the shrunken down Arduino is ideal for drones and high-altitude balloon projects, not to mention a wide-range of other gadgets like his latest B&W Instant Printer that was on display inside our Maker Faire Bay Area booth.
