In this video:
When we look at the IoT solutions from MCU8 and MCU16, integrated into MCC/START, these examples for the most part are built on the Foundation Services framework. Foundation Services is a collection of software components that work together, including:
• Software applications (examples)
• Software libraries: Independent software libraries are used together to build an application framework.
• Foundation Drivers: Are hardware abstracted drivers, providing an interface which allows the software libraries to work with all the devices supported in MCC. Foundation Drivers will use the peripheral drivers specific to the chosen MCU, which includes 8- and 16- bit PIC microcontrollers, as well as AVR.
