The Mikromedia Board for PIC32 (MIKROE-597) fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and provides amazing multimedia capability. Based on the PIC32MX460F512L MCU, it includes a 320 x 240 TFT display with touchscreen, stereo codec, 8-Mbit serial flash, microSD card slot, headphone and microphone jacks, and a USB connector. ADC Click is an add-on board in the mikroBUS™ form factor (MIKROE-922). It includes a 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) MCP3204 device that features 50k samples/second, 4 input channels, and low-power consumption (500nA typical standby, 2µA max). In addition, this board uses the industry-standard SPI communication interface. It is small in size and features convenient screw terminals for easier connections. By default, the board is set to use 3.3V of power. However, to use it with 5V systems, just place the PWR SEL SMD jumper in the 5V position.

It includes a 12-bit, Digital-to-Analog Converter device (MCP4921) that features an optional 2x buffered output and SPI interface. The board provides high accuracy and low-noise performance for industrial applications where calibration or compensation of signals such as temperature, pressure, and humidity are required. The 3D Motion click (MIKROE-1877) contains the Microchip MM7150 9-axis sensor fusion motion module. It’s a completely self-contained solution comprising a 3-axis accelerometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and an SSC7150 motion coprocessor. The motion coprocessor has sensor fusion alghoritms that take raw data from individual sensors and filter, compensate and combine them together. The resulting output provides reliable and accurate positioning and orientation information. The board communicates with the target MCU through the mikroBUS™ I2C interface; WAKE and RESET pins are also used (in placed of default mikroBUS™ AN and RST respectively), as well as an interrupt pin (INT).

The USB I2C click contains an MCP2221 USB-to-UART/I2C converter. The chip supports full-speed USB (12 Mb/s), I2C with up to 400 kHz clock rates and UART baud rates between 300 and 115200. The board communicates with the target MCU through mikroBUS™ UART (RX, TX) or I2C (SCL, SDA) interfaces. In addition to mikroBUS™, the edges of the board are lined with additional GPIO and I2C pins. Boasting not one, but two mikroBUS host sockets, this starter development kit allows the user to take advantage of the constantly expanding range of add-on "clicks" in the MikroElektronika ecosystem.
