The SAM R34/R35 is a highly-integrated LoRa® System-in-Package (SiP) family which includes an ultra-low power, high-performance 32-bit microcontroller (MCU), LoRa transceiver and software stack. With certified reference designs, and proven interoperability with major LoRaWAN™ gateway and network providers, the SAM R34/35 SiPs significantly reduce time to market for Internet of Things (IoT) designs.

The SAMR34-Xpro Development Board (orderable part number: DM320111) is FCC, RED and ISED certified and includes an on-board debugger, current measurement circuitry and extension headers to connect to additional boards. Supported by Atmel Studio Integrated Development Environment and certified chip-down package, this development board greatly simplifies LoRa® end-node development.

  2. Connect DEBUG USB on the kit to your computer
