Voltage Monitoring and Referencing for Stable Systems
Voltage supervisors and voltage references monitor system voltages to eliminate problems during operation. On power-down, the supervisor monitors the power supply voltage and resets the system if the voltage falls below a predetermined level. On power-up, the supervisor holds the system in reset until the voltage has stabilized.

System Supervisors and Voltage Detectors
A system supervisor is a device that monitors supply voltage and system activity, providing reset and watchdog functions to ensure reliable and safe operation of electronic systems.
A voltage detector monitors supply voltage and signals when it crosses a set threshold, helping protect electronic systems from unsafe voltage levels.
This tool provides design suggestions for common circuit needs, estimates performance for common modifications, and can export to MPLAB® Mindi™ Analog Simulator for verification.
This simulation tool uses a SIMetrix/SIMPLIS environment to model circuit behavior, reducing design time with software debugging for initial design verification.
Our complimentary MicroCHECK design review service, which offers insight from the initial concept to the final PCB layout, is available to customers who are using our products in their projects.
