The ATMXT1066T2 touchscreen controller is aimed at display sizes up to 10.1” used in Industrial designs. This family of touchscreen controller brings Microchip’s unmatched Adaptive Sensing technology to the Industrial market. It enables dynamic touch classification, a feature that automatically and intelligently switches between self-capacitance and mutual-capacitance sensing to provide users a seamless transition between a finger touch and glove touch. Adaptive Sensing is also highly resistant to moisture. Proprietary differential touch sensing delivers unparalleled noise immunity ensuring superior touch performance even in harsh environments.
Support: off the shelf maXTouch standard modules are available
to help shorten development time and reduce risk. Microchip also has a strong
selection of factory trained global touch sensor module partners to help
support custom touch sensor and/or touchscreen display designs.
Supports up to 16 concurrent touches in real time with touch size reporting
Communication via I2C interface
Adaptive Sensing (Self and Mutual cap)
Supports thick glove (5mm) touch
Support thick lenses (up to 4.5mm glass)
High voltage option via internal voltage pump to increase the signal to noise ratio (SNR)
This maXTouch USB Bridge product provides an interface to connect the I2C or SPI compatible based maXTouch devices to PC-based applications through a USB port.
The D21 bridge board significantly improves data throughput, increasing test and production efficiency. This board is twice as fast as other maXTouch bridge boards (ATUSB-PCB-80146 and ATUSB-I2C-AUTO-PCB).
This maXTouch USB Bridge product is an ARM-based interface to convert I2C or SPI and debug signals to USB and communicate with the PC-based applications. This product is designed to be used with Microchip Automotive maXTouch touchscreen controllers.
