Arasan's MIPI I3C IP portfolio provides a complete sensor communication solution comprising I3C Host, Device, and Dual Controller IP, along with PHY and software stack offerings. The solution is designed to simplify sensor connectivity while maintaining backward compatibility with legacy I2C devices. Supporting both standard and high-data-rate communication modes, the IP enables efficient communication between processors and multiple sensors in mobile, automotive, industrial, and IoT systems. The portfolio supports dynamic address assignment, in-band interrupts, hot-join capability, group addressing, DMA acceleration, and advanced controller management features. With support for MIPI I3C and I3C HCI specifications, the IP provides a scalable and cost-effective alternative to legacy sensor interfaces while reducing system complexity and pin count. Arasan has also participated in multiple MIPI interoperability workshops to validate compliance and interoperability across vendors.
