Overview
The EVB-LAN7431-EDS2 is a PCIe Bridge-based platform (utilizing LAN7431) for evaluating Ethernet switch and PHY products. Compatible switch and PHY evaluation boards connect to the EDS2 board via an RGMII connector. These daughter boards are available separately. The EDS2 board is not intended for stand-alone use and has no Ethernet capabilities when no daughter board is connected.
- Single-chip, PCIe 3.1 @ 2.5GT/s to RGMII or MII Networking Controller
- PCIe Low Power Sub States LPSS L1.1 (snooze) & L1.2 (off)
- Compatible with other boards in the Microchip EDS2 series
- IEEE 1588-2008 Programmable Time Compare output (Eg: 1PPS) via optional SMA connector
- IEEE 1588-2008 Capture input via optional SMA connector
- Accessible GPIO
