The Smart Street Lighting demo is a comprehensive solution for modern street lighting applications. It integrates advanced technology for remote control and automation to improve efficiency. The system uses an LTE-M mobile network to connect securely to Amazon Web Services^® (AWS^®) and implement remote control via the cloud. 

dsPIC33 DSCs integrate the performance of a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for embedded applications that require time-critical response and the simplicity of an MCU. This family of DSCs offers low-latency interrupt response, fast Direct Memory Access (DMA) and a single-cycle Multiply Accumulate (MAC) instruction. These DSCs support 16- and 32-bit CPU instructions, which makes them excellent options for math-intensive, high-performance and real-time control designs.

As the electrification of automobiles and trucks is progressing, so is the electrification of two-wheeled transportation platforms. Electric motorcycles, bicycles and scooters have many of the same subsystems as larger electric vehicles, including motor driver units, vehicle control units, battery management systems and instrument clusters. While the power levels of the drive systems are lower, the same type of innovation is required to bring electric two wheelers to market. The USB Power Delivery (PD) Charging Stand is a GUI-based demonstration of fully functional and digitally controlled smart PD charging applications for a variety of USB loads. The power-balancing features between ports provide better control of the charging process and deliver the right power to each device that is being charged.
