This video demonstrates how to measure TIE jitter using a phase noise analyzer; phase noise power spectral density is integrated over a frequency range to derive rms phase noise amplitude.
PLEASE NOTE: The formula for Power[dBm] beginning at 1:38 in brown font is missing a pair of parentheses. In addition to the existing parentheses already in the formula, 50Ω*1mW should have parentheses around it as well so that the formula is Power[dBm]= 10 log10(V^2/(50Ω*1mW))
