The Microchip Curiosity Nano Base for Click boards™ evaluation kit is a hardware extension platform to ease the connection between Curiosity Nano kits and extension boards like the mikroBUS Click modules and Xplained Pro extension boards.
The Curiosity PIC32 MX470 Development Board features PIC32MX Series (PIC32MX470512H) with a 120MHz CPU, 512KB Flash, 128KB RAM , Full Speed USB and multiple expansion options. It is an excellent development board for Audio, USB and Bluetooth® Applications.

The Curiosity Development Board includes an integrated programmer/debugger, excellent user experience options with Multiple LED’s, RGB LED and a switch. Each board provides two MikroBus® expansion sockets from MicroElektronika , I/O expansion header and a Microchip X32 header to enable customers seeking accelerated application prototype development.

The Curiosity PIC32 MZ EF Development Board is a fully integrated 32-bit development platform featuring the high performance PIC32MZ EF Series (PIC32MZ2048EFM) that has a 2MB Flash, 512KB RAM, integrated FPU, Crypto accelerator and excellent connectivity options.

The Curiosity Development Board includes an integrated programmer/debugger ,an on board Wi-Fi-N module MRF24WN0MA-I/RM100 and is fully integrated with Microchip’s MPLAB® X IDE.

For customers who want to develop USB audio applications with the PIC32MM GPM family, the USB audio headset demo is a perfect starting point that leverages the X32 headers populated on the PIC32MM USB Curiosity Development Board. 

Demo Highlights:
  • Implements USB isochronous digital audio streaming to I2S conversion
  • Works with the AC320100 audio codec daughter board to implement:
    • Full stereo 48kHz digital audio playback
    • Simultaneous microphone sampling and I2S streaming input capability
  • Implements fine resolution fractional clock division for eliminating audio playback rate mismatch with the host
  • Implements an HID audio control interface for digitally adjusting volume/pause/play, etc.

ATSAMD10 Xplained Mini is is a hardware platform for evaluating the ATSAMD10 microcontroller. The evaluation kit comes with a fully integrated debugger that provides seamless integration with Atmel Studio. The SAM D11 Xplained Pro evaluation kit is ideal for evaluating and prototyping with the SAM D11 ARM® Cortex®-M0+ based microcontrollers. Extension boards to the SAM D11 Xplained Pro can be purchased individually.

The ATSAMD21-XPRO evaluation kit does not include extension boards.
