AVIX is a fully preemptive RTOS developed from the ground up for the PIC32MX family of microcontrollers. AVIX is characterized by its zero latency feature, meaning it never disables interrupts while still allowing interrupt functions to use many AVIX functions. Furthermore AVIX offers a system stack for exclusive use by interrupt handlers. AVIX comes with an RTOS viewer plug-in for MPLAB IDE, providing all AVIX related details of the application through a graphical user interface. The EXTENDED distribution supports threads, mutexes, semaphores, event groups, pipes, timers, and memory pools limited only by available memory.
