Overview
The KSZ8895 EDS2 Daughter Card is designed for evaluation of the Microchip KSZ8895 Gigabit Ethernet RGMII Switch when used with a Microchip EDS2 compatible host board. A SODIMM 260-pin connector for the EDS2 Host - KSZ8895 Interface is used due to its high performance, high pin count, and low cost.

- Microchip VXM7-9013-25M0000 crystal for 25 MHz
- Microchip MIC2790N Reset supervisor with Reset LED indicator
- Microchip 24AA014H I2C Serial EEPROM for board identification
- MDC/MDIO Management Interface
- Compliant with the SODIMM EDS2 Interface Specification
- Test points for GPIOs, power rails, and GND
