This Application Note presents a buffered interrupt driven approach to preserve and restore system information when power is turned off, significantly increasing general performance and decreasing power consumption compared to a polling implementation. The included example code includes two functions EEPROM_PutChar() and EEPROM_GetChar(), and an interrupt routine.
