This application note describes how to drive a Switec stepper motor as a metronome using mainly Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs), with minimal involvement of the core. In the document can be found the description of the circuit that drives the motor, which is composed only from CIPs. Also, there are described all the peripherals used, together with their configuration in MPLABX Code Configurator.
