The paid IP licenses listed in the table below, come with a lifelong validity, allowing perpetual use without expiration. Plus, with an active maintenance plan, you get access to new versions of the IP core- no additional licenses required. 

Microchip offers two types of Evaluation IP Core Licenses to help you explore and validate our IP cores before full deployment: 

• Time Bombed Evaluation License : Designed for temporary assessment, which grants restricted access to the paid IP core for a limited time. Core is provided as either encrypted or obfuscated and may have functional limitations such as reduced performance, time-bound operation, or other restrictions.

• Simulation License :  It is ideal for functional verification and provides precompiled simulation libraries or encrypted models that allow designer to instantiate and simulate the paid IP. Source code access is restricted, preventing synthesis and implementation, ensuring its use remains within a simulation environment.
