This document describes a secure transponder system. The system is suitable for use in security applications such as cars, motor bikes, and scooters (two-wheelers). Microchip?s secure HCS410 KEELOQ code hopping transponder is used. The decoder is implemented on a Microchip PIC16C56 microcontroller. The software can be used to implement a stand-alone decoder or can be integrated into a security system.
