Description
This application note presents an implementation of a data acquisition system based on a PIC14C000 microcontroller. The PIC14C000?s analog front end will perform signal conditioning and analog to digital conversion of signals used in a battery monitoring application. Battery voltage, current, and temperature data will be acquired. This data will then be transmitted via RS-232 to a remote PC host.
