The EVB-PCI1005 is designed to enable easy evaluation of the PCI1005 PCIe Gen4 x16 lane switch in a fanout configuration. The board arrives ready to use, with all components needed to operate the switch included on board.
The board is configured with one Gen4 x4 upstream host port fanning out to six downstream ports with x2 lanes each. On-board CEM connectors allow direct connection of PCIe endpoints, and serial interfaces and switches for configuration and control are provided. A User Guide is available on Microchip's Secure Data Portal via MyMicrochip.
Key board features include:
- PC edge connector for host plug-in
- Standard power supply connection
- Serial port access for configuration changes
- On-board GPIO expander, LDO, buck regulator and voltage supervisors—all Microchip silicon
The board is CE, RoHS, FCC, REACH and UKCA certified.
Best for: PCIe switch evaluation, server/storage topology prototyping, high-bandwidth endpoint connectivity testing
PIC32CM GC Curiosity Nano+Touch — Arm® Cortex®-M23 Dev Board
Part: EV23Z30A

The PIC32CM GC Curiosity Nano Touch board is designed for evaluating and prototyping with our ARM Cortex-M23-based PIC32CM microcontroller family. The board includes an on-board debugger, 512 KB Flash, 128 KB SRAM, a built-in peripheral touch controller and USB interface—suited for consumer, industrial, medical and IoT applications where low-power operation matters.
For teams that need to scale to a 64-pin device with CAN and LIN interface support, the board is complemented by the PIC32CM GC Curiosity Pro development platform, which features a superset of 64-pin devices and provides options to evaluate CAN and LIN interfaces.
Best for: Industrial and general-purpose embedded development, touch-enabled applications, consumer IoT and medical edge devices
dsPIC33CK256MC006 Motor Control DIM
Part: EV19U29A
![]() |
The EV19U29A is a Motor Control DIM (Daughter Interface Module) built around the dsPIC33CK256MC006 DSC. It is designed to demonstrate and develop single-motor control applications when paired with a compatible Microchip MCS inverter board via a 120-pin keyed card edge connector.
This DIM supports external op-amps for motor phase and bus current measurements and includes an RC pre-filter for DC bus over-current fault detection via an on-chip comparator.
Additional on-board elements include:
- An 8-pin ICSP header for programming and debugging
- Two LEDs for power status and user debug feedback
- An optional 8 MHz MEMS oscillator for clocking the dsPIC
Best for: Single-motor FOC development, variable-speed drives, compressors and fan applications targeting the dsPIC33CK256MC006
