The Microchip® Trust Anchor (TA100) is a secure element from the Microchip CryptoAutomotive™ portfolio intended for automotive security applications providing support for code authentication (aka secure boot), message authentication via MAC generation, support for trusted firmware updates, multiple key management protocols including TLS and other root-of-trust based operations. It is typically a companion device to an MCU or MPU on the same board.
The Microchip TA100 integrates multiple asymmetric, symmetric, and hashing security protocols supporting an ultra-secure method for key agreement, sign-verify authentication for automotive in-vehicle networking applications., Similar to all Microchip CryptoAutomotive™ products, the new TA100 employs ultra-secure hardware-based cryptographic key storage and cryptographic countermeasures which eliminate potential backdoors linked to software weaknesses.
The device is agnostic of any microprocessor (MPU) or microcontroller (MCU) and compatible with Microchip AVR/ARM MCUs or MPUs.
The AC164166 14-Pin SOIC Socket board is used to develop applications for the TA100 using microcontroller boards that support the mikroBUS extension header. Through use of the ATMBUSAdapter the board can also be used with kits that support an XPRO Extension. Utilizing a socket allows for the ability to try out various configurations of the TA100 device to select an optimal
...The TA100 8-Pin SOIC Socket board is used to develop applications using microcontroller boards that support the mikroBUS extension header. Utilizing a socket allows for the ability to try out various configuration of the TA100 device to select an optimal configuration for a given application. The board supports both 3.3V and 5.0V supply operation and can be used with either...
