xQlave® ML-KEM (Kyber) Key Encapsulation

xQlave® ML-KEM (Kyber) Key Encapsulation Mechanism IP core provides quantum-resistant key exchange, offering a secure solution against the growing threat posed by quantum computing. As a member of xQlave® Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) product family, this IP core is designed to meet the security standards set by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ensuring that your systems are equipped to handle the cryptographic challenges of the future. The xQlave® ML-KEM PQC solution combines high performance with minimal resource usage, making it an ideal choice for secure, scalable, and efficient key exchange.

Features and Benefits

  • Small Resource Requirements:
    • Requires about 17 000 LUTs and additionally uses only a few multipliers/DSP blocks and internal memory block in a typical FPGA implementation.
  • Performance:
    • Capable of computing a few thousand key generation, encapsulation, or decapsulation operations in a second in a typical FPGA implementation.
  • Secure Architecture:
    • The execution time is independent of the secret values and, consequently, provides full protection against timing-based side-channel attacks.
    • Has been implemented only in digital logic without any software components.
  • Easy Integration:
    • The simple 64-bit interface of XIP6110B supports easy integration to various systems.
    • Pure RTL without hidden CPU or software components.
    • Vendor agnostics FPGA/ASIC implementation.
  • Compliance:
    • Fully compliant with Kyber specifications 3.0 (Oct. 1, 2020) which is the version that was selected as a candidate to be standardized by NIST .
