Overview
The MPLAB® XC Unified Network Server License (5 Seats) unlocks the complete capabilities of the MPLAB XC8, XC16, XC32 and XC-DSC compilers, enabling advanced-level optimizations, significant reductions in code size, and superior performance.
The network server license type enables organizations to efficiently manage and distribute licenses in a networked environment. It allows for license installation on a network, with the capability to support a large number of users through multiple licenses. This promotes collaboration and productivity, making it ideal for global companies with multiple design centers located in different geographies. Additionally, the loan-out feature provides the flexibility of temporarily allocating licenses.
A 5-seat network server license allows up to five users to compile at the same time. A sixth user must wait until one of the active users has been idle for 60 minutes. Each time a user compiles, their 60-minute timer resets.
The MPLAB XC Unified Network Server License (5 Seats) also comes with 12 months of High Priority Access (HPA). HPA is a 12-month maintenance service that provides unlimited PRO optimizations for all MPLAB® XC compiler versions, priority technical support for compiler-related queries, and free shipping of development tools ordered on Microchip’s Purchasing and Client Services e-commerce website.
