Overview
The MCP39F511A CT Evaluation Board (EVB) is a 1-phase evaluation board demonstrating current measurement using a Split-Core Current Transformer. The system calculates active power, reactive power, RMS current, RMS voltage, active energy, reactive energy and other typical power quantities, as described in the MCP39F511A data sheet.
It connects easily through USB to the “Power Monitor Utility Software” that offers automated control to allow easy experimenting with all system configuration settings, as well as monitor all voltage, current, and power measurements.
- 100A(max) isolated current measurement using the MCP39F511A Power Monitoring IC and a non-intrusive split-core current transformer.
- Isolated voltage measurement using the ZMPT101L Current-Type Voltage Transformer.
- Temperature Sensing using the MCP9700 Low-Power Linear Active Thermistor IC.
- mikroBus compatibility for embedded development.
- 4-Position Screw Terminal for easy mains voltage and current transformer interfacing
