Overview
This evaluation board is based on the PD69220 + PD69208M chipset and demonstrates the operation of four 4-pair ports and four 2-pair ports in a PSE system. The evaluation system provides designers with the required environment to evaluate the performance and implementation of the PD69220 PoE PSE controller and the PD69208M PoE PSE manager. The evaluation board enables PoE designers to evaluate Microchip's PoE solution with flexibility and easy configuration.
- EVB includes one PD69220 PSE Controller and two PD69208M PSE Managers
- IEEE 802.3af/at/bt Type 3 standard compliant
- Eight (8) PoE channels
- Two gangs (each contains four RJ45 connectors)
- Four 30W (2-pair) channels
- Four 60W (4-pair) channels
- UART / USB host interface
- Switch domain isolated from PoE domain
- Switch domain USB interface
- PoE controller manual reset
- LED status indication for all the ports (LED stream)
- Requires single power source only
- 0 °C to 40 °C operating temperature
- RoHS compliant
